Denim Dreams and Fall Layers: My Fave Walmart Fall Fashion Finds
As the weather starts to turn, so does my wardrobe. There’s something so comforting about slipping into a great pair of jeans or throwing on a cute jacket, especially when it comes from a place that’s both convenient and affordable—Walmart! After making some healthier choices and shedding a few pounds, shopping has become a mix of excitement and a bit of self-discovery as I get more comfortable with my body and embrace the new me. It was fun doing this try-on and encouraging to see some of my hard work paying off.
This season, I’ve found some incredible pieces that not only fit like a dream but also make me feel confident and chic. Denim has always been my go-to, and I found a pair of jeans that hugs in all the right places, along with some fabulous jackets that are perfect for layering as the weather cools down.
Here are a few of my favorites
High-Rise Wide Leg Jeans - These jeans were my favorite of my haul. They have a really cute pintuck seam down the front which makes them more polished for an elevated look. The fit is snug but comfortable, with just the right amount of stretch for those who have curves like me. My typical size worked great.
Drawstring Cargo Pants - I got these in the Ermine color, which is a camel brown color. I also really liked the Sea Turtle (sage green) as well, but I opted for the camel. I have so much green already (It’s my favorite color 💚). These are curvy friendly as well. They were snug but the material is relaxed so they stretch to your body with just a few minutes of wear. They are soft and drawstring allows them to be pulled in just right. Order your typical size.
Denim Bomber with Rib Knit Waist - Cozy and stylish, this jacket will probably my new go-to for running errands or casual weekends. A cropped bomber fit normally works well on my body type and those with a larger chest and arms. It is a juniors fit so order a size up. I got an XL rather than my typical large.
Cream Denim Shacket - I love the cream (birch) color and the frayed detail along the bottom hem. It is a great fall color. The oversized look is super cute and it falls long enough to cover your bottom with leggings.
Wide Leg Utility Jeans - These are basically pajama pants you can wear in public. They are so soft! I knew I’d love them before I even tried them on. They fit a little loose so size down if you like a tighter look. My typical size was perfect for me!
